  4. I've never really seen the point in the 'no patching allowed' type of
  5. crackmes as you can make them arbitrarily difficult.

  7. The only reason I do see in them is to train reversing techniques, but from
  8. the crackmes that I have seen, not much attention is paid to the design
  9. of the crackme algorithm. In fact, I suspect that many of them are just
  10. a bunch of instructions thrown together ad hoc.

  12. I thought of writing this 'difficult' crackme using public key encryption or
  13. one way hashes but was too lazy. Almost all of this code has been recycled
  14. from either GARC or the Keygen Competition.
